Episode Guide
How Survivor: In the Hands of the Fans unfolded, week by week.
- 1“Epic Party”Feb 25, 2026The fiftieth season opens with a three-hour party: twenty-four returning players, a cast and rulebook shaped by fan votes, and a milestone everyone is desperate to be part of. The premiere takes two of them. Jenna Lewis-Dougherty, back from the show's earliest days, can't shake the rust and is voted out first in 24th, her tribe choosing to keep a struggling Cirie over her. Then comes a gut-punch nobody scripts: Kyle Fraser, the reigning champion fresh off his Season 48 win, tears his Achilles during the opening immunity challenge, and medical has to pull him on Day 4, his title defense over in 23rd before it ever really began.
- 2“Therapy Carousel”Mar 4, 2026Savannah Louie, the most recent champ in the cast after winning Season 49, comes back from one of the season's Journeys and won't tell her tribe a word about what she found out there. That silence sinks her; the group decides a recent winner sitting on a secret advantage is exactly the kind of person you can't afford to leave in the game, and Savannah is voted out in 22nd.
- 3“Did You Vote For a Swap?”Mar 11, 2026True to the season's whole conceit, the fans voted for a tribe swap, and the reshuffle strands Q Burdette without numbers. An old David vs. Goliath core of Mike White, Angelina, and Christian still trusts one another from way back, and they quietly close ranks against him; Q is voted out in 21st in a near-unanimous call.
- 4“Knife to the Heart”Mar 18, 2026Mike White tries to engineer a blindside, working to peel Christian away from Emily, but the plan blows up in his hands. The vote splits and swings back onto him, and Mike, one of the sharper strategic minds in the cast, is blindsided in 20th by the very chaos he set in motion.
- 5“Open Wounds”Mar 25, 2026A two-boot night. Angelina Keeley never finds her footing after losing her ally Mike the week before, and the tide carries her out in 19th. Then Charlie Davis, a strong recent finalist, plays a beat too slow and shares a little too freely around camp, and the carelessness costs him; Charlie is voted out in 18th.
- 6“The Blood Moon”Apr 1, 2026The merge arrives under the season's signature fan twist, the Blood Moon, which splits the new tribe into three small groups for three separate Tribal Councils on a single brutal night. Kamilla Karthigesu falls first, blindsided 3-2 in 17th when Jonathan and Stephenie flip the vote. Genevieve Mushaluk plays a hidden idol at the second Tribal, but the twist leaves her exposed anyway, and she's voted out in 16th with the idol no help at all. Then Colby Donaldson, the Australian Outback legend, walks into the third Tribal stripped of his vote by the Blood Moon rules and has no way to defend himself, going out in 15th. Three Survivor names gone in one night.
- 7“That's Not How I Play Survivor”Apr 8, 2026Dee Valladares, the Season 45 champion, gets a little loose and outs the fact that Rizo is holding a hidden idol, which rattles the room more than it helps her. She loses immunity, plays a Shot in the Dark hoping to wriggle free, and it comes up without safety; Dee is voted out in 14th as the first member of the jury.
- 8“Double The Fun, Double The Demise”Apr 15, 2026Another fan twist delivers a Survivor first: a pair vote-out, where the losing side sends two players home from a single Tribal at once. The majority uses it to clear out two veterans in one stroke, snuffing Benjamin 'Coach' Wade in 12th and Chrissy Hofbeck in 13th, the two of them walking onto the jury together.
- 9“I Deserve All Of This”Apr 22, 2026Christian Hubicki, the robotics scientist, draws a Journey gamble and loses it, the penalty forcing him to cast a vote against himself back at camp. With a target that had been growing for weeks finally catching up to him, that self-inflicted ballot is part of the math that sends Christian to the jury in 11th.
- 10“A Side Dish of Chaos”Apr 29, 2026A chaotic Tribal where Rick Devens, idols and bluffs flying in every direction, once again wriggles out of danger and saves himself. The vote tips instead onto Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, whose earlier pushes to target Ozzy and Cirie had quietly eroded her standing around camp; Stephenie is voted out to the jury in 10th.
- 11“Everyone Will Be Shooketh!”May 6, 2026A double-elimination rocks the game to its core. At a split Tribal, Emily Flippen sits on the bottom, and Cirie Fields plays an extra vote to help seal it, sending Emily to the jury in 9th. Then the bigger one: Ozzy Lusth, sitting on a hidden idol but trusting Rizo and Joe, gets blindsided in 8th after Aubry exposes a final-pairing promise he'd made to Cirie, his idol still in his pocket as his torch goes out.
- 12“Inconceivable”May 13, 2026The penultimate night, and it's a double. Rick Devens, the great escape artist of the season, finally runs out of idols, and when he loses immunity his Shot in the Dark can't bail him out either; Devens is voted out in 7th. Then comes the heartbreak: at the final six, Cirie Fields, still chasing the title that's eluded her across an all-time great career, confronts Aubry at Tribal and is voted out in 6th, agonizingly short once again. Plenty around the game figured she'd have won the whole thing had she only reached the end.
- 13“Reverse the Curse”FinaleMay 20, 2026Finale night, and Aubry Bracco completes one of the great arcs the show has ever produced. At the final five, the perceived jury favorite Tiffany Ervin is cut in 5th, with Joe, Jonathan, and Rizo all deciding they'd rather sit beside Aubry than against her. Then Aubry wins the crucial final immunity, and at the fire-making challenge Jonathan Young beats Rizo Velovic, who loses at fire for the second season running, a brutal historic first, finishing 4th. That leaves Aubry, Jonathan, and Joe Hunter at the end. After clawing up from the bottom and personally engineering the exits of Ozzy, Cirie, and Tiffany down the stretch, Aubry, a finalist twice before who could never quite close, finally takes the whole thing 8-3-0 over Jonathan, with Joe shut out. On her fourth try, in the milestone fiftieth season, Aubry Bracco is the Sole Survivor.
