Joe Hunter is the kind of leader every tribe wants — a steady, warm fire captain who anchored alliances on both of his seasons and proved a quiet challenge threat, winning four immunities on Survivor 48. He made the Final Tribal Council there and lost to Kyle Fraser.
He earned a place on the all-returnee Survivor 50 and did it again — three more immunities and another trip to the end — only to be shut out at the final vote as Aubry won. Twice a finalist, twice denied, and beloved both times.
