Survivor: Survivor 49 · Season 49
Episode Guide
How Survivor: Survivor 49 unfolded, week by week.
- 1“Act One of a Horror Film”Sep 24, 2025Eighteen new players land in Fiji and split into three tribes, Hina, Kele, and Uli, and right out of the gate it's Kele that can't get out of its own way. After dropping the opening immunity, the tribe decides it needs bodies who can win challenges, and Nicole Mazullo, read as the physically weakest of the bunch, is sent home 5-1 to kick off the season.
- 2“Cinema”Oct 1, 2025Kele loses again, a second straight trip to Tribal, and the cracks are already showing. Annie Davis had tried to plant herself in a leadership role, and between that and a rough showing in the challenges she's rubbed enough people the wrong way to land on the block. Annie is voted out 4-1, and Kele is down two before either of the other tribes has lost anyone.
- 3“Loveable Losers”Oct 8, 2025The night is defined by one of the most frightening medical scenes the show has ever aired: down by the water, Jake Latimer is bitten by a sea krait, a genuinely venomous sea snake. Doctors determine it was a 'dry bite' with no venom delivered, but they won't risk sending him back out and pull him from the game (he made it home in time for the birth of his son). A snakebit Kele then loses immunity for the third straight time, and Sophi Balerdi turns on her own ally, teaming with Alex Moore to vote Jeremiah Ing out as the odd man on the bottom.
- 4“Go Kick Rocks, Bro”Oct 15, 2025A tribe swap on Day 8 blows up the early lines and strands Matt Williams away from the people he'd been building with. He scrambles to make new bonds in a hurry, but Savannah Louie and Nate Moore already have the numbers locked, and Matt is voted out, the first casualty of the reshuffle.
- 5“I'm a Wolf, Baby”Oct 22, 2025The swap math keeps biting, and this time it's Jason Treul stuck on the wrong side, buried under a bloc of former Uli players who have no reason to flip. He pushes for a crack in their ranks but can't pry one open, and the Uli majority holds firm to vote Jason out, sticking to the plan right after taking Matt.
- 6“The Devil's Shoes”Oct 29, 2025Shannon Fairweather feels good about her spot, convinced she's got the tribe speaking her language and following her lead. The trouble is that the loud, out-front positioning reads as a threat to the people actually steering things, and Jawan Pitts and Sage Ahrens-Nichols quietly line the votes up against her. Shannon is blindsided out, certain right up to the read that she was safe.
- 7“Blood Will Be Drawn”Nov 5, 2025The eleven survivors merge at Lewatu and the individual game opens with a bang. Nate Moore thinks he's tight with his old Uli crew, but Sage and Jawan have decided their former ally is too connected to keep around, and they flip the second the merge hits. Nate is voted out 7-4 and becomes the first member of the jury, blindsided by the very people he trusted most.
- 8“Hot Grim Reaper”Nov 12, 2025MC Chukwujekwu wants to take a run at Rizo, but he plays it badly, burning a hidden idol too early and tipping the whole scheme to Jawan before it can land. With the blindside on Rizo dead on arrival, the vote swings back around, and MC is sent to the jury as its second member, undone by his own overeager play.
- 9“If You're Loyal to All, You're Loyal to None”Nov 19, 2025Rizo Velovic, sitting on a hidden idol he's determined to protect, takes control of the night and steers the vote exactly where he wants it. Alex Moore isn't the biggest strategic threat left, but he's the cleanest name to land on without putting Rizo's idol at risk, and Alex is voted out 6-2-1 as the third member of the jury.
- 10“Huge Dose of Bamboozle”Nov 26, 2025Jawan Pitts has had his fingerprints on just about every post-merge vote, which is exactly the kind of run that paints a target on your back. Rizo and Savannah quietly coordinate an advantage-fueled blindside, and the would-be master manipulator never sees it coming. Jawan joins the jury as its fourth member, caught in a trap built by the players he thought he was steering.
- 11“Cherry On Top”Dec 3, 2025With the field thinning, the names that get cut are the ones who can win their way to the end. Sophie Segreti has played a steady, solid game, but she's also a genuine challenge threat, and the group decides the present danger outweighs any future jury risk. Sophie is voted out 6-1, a near-unanimous send-off, as the fifth member of the jury.
- 12“The Die Is Cast”Dec 10, 2025Steven Ramm has been playing a sharp game, using an advantage to tee up blindsides and stay a step ahead of the room. That competence is exactly the problem: Sage and Kristina look down the road, decide they simply can't beat him at the end, and move now. Steven is voted out and heads to the jury as its sixth member, a strong game ended by the threat it posed.
- 13“A Fever Dream”FinaleDec 17, 2025Finale night, and the endgame is all fireworks. At the final five, Rizo Velovic finally plays the hidden idol he'd carried a record nine Tribal Councils, voiding the votes against him, so the night instead claims expert fire-maker Kristina Mills, cut to keep her hands away from a final-four fire. Then Sophi Balerdi wins the last immunity and makes the brutal call to take Sage to the end while pitting her two closest allies, Savannah and Rizo, against each other at fire. Savannah, who'd talked down her own chances, beats the beloved RizGod for the last seat. That sets the first all-women final three in twenty seasons, and at Final Tribal the jury rewards Savannah Louie's commanding game, four individual immunity wins and all, crowning her the Sole Survivor 5-2-1 over Sophi and Sage.
