Tina Scheer brought a genuinely unique résumé to Panama's Exile Island season — a world-class lumberjill and logging-sports champion who ran her own timber show, as rugged and self-reliant as any castaway the show has cast. If anyone was built for life in the elements, it was her.

But Survivor is a social game first, and the early small-tribe politics moved against her; Tina was voted out in sixteenth. A remarkable outdoorswoman whose toughness couldn't outvote the numbers.
