Keith Famie was a Michigan celebrity chef whose Survivor: The Australian Outback run became a long-running joke at his own expense — the professional cook who couldn't get a pot of rice right, to the endless exasperation of his Ogakor tribemates. Abrasive and divisive around camp, he answered the doubters where it counted, winning two individual immunities down the stretch to muscle his way deep into the game.
He made it to the final three on Day 41, and then watched the season's most famous strategic blunder save and doom him in the same breath: Colby Donaldson won the last immunity and chose to take Tina Wesson to the end over Keith — the stronger jury threat — and lost to her 4-3. Keith, cut one step short, was left as the season's last juror, a footnote in one of Survivor's defining final-two decisions.
