Hands on a Hard Idol
How it works
Keep one hand on the immunity idol while balancing on a small log. Lift a foot, lose your balance, or let go — and you're out. The last castaway still holding on wins.
Why it's iconic
A beloved Final Immunity test of the early game — it ran in Borneo, Africa, Marquesas, and All-Stars before being retired. Its most infamous finish: Boston Rob tricking Amber into steadying herself with a second hand on the idol, knocking her out so he could win and pick who he sat next to at the end.
The moment
All-Stars final three: after more than three hours, Rob talked Amber into touching the idol with her second hand to balance — instantly eliminating her — then won and dragged her to the final two, where she beat him 4–3.
