Woo Hwang was Cagayan's good-natured martial artist, a loyal, easygoing player who won two immunities and made the final two — then made one of the most second-guessed decisions in Survivor history. Given the choice, Woo took Tony Vlachos, the season's biggest threat, to the end instead of a more beatable rival.
The jury rewarded Tony 8-1, and Woo's honorable-but-costly call became a permanent cautionary tale. He returned for Second Chance hoping to rewrite it, but went out pre-merge. A genuinely decent guy in a game that rarely rewards it.
