Scout Cloud Lee was an Oklahoma rancher and one of the elder statesmen of Vanuatu — a gay cowgirl whose dry wit and life experience made her a camp favorite even as a bad knee kept her from contending in challenges. What she lacked physically she made up for as a strategist, helping engineer the women's alliance that systematically dismantled the men's side of the season.
She and Twila Tanner ran that bloc deep into the game, but the last man standing, Chris Daugherty, talked his way through the cracks and flipped it from the bottom. Scout went out in third at the final three, a step from the end of a season she'd spent much of in control. One of the early era's craftiest older players.
