Pat Cusack, a maintenance manager, never made it to a Tribal Council. On Day 3, after the David tribe lost the first immunity, their boat hit a wave in choppy, cyclone-driven seas and Pat compressed his spine.
The medical team evacuated him, making him the season's only medical evacuation and its lowest-placing exit at twentieth. He later made a full recovery.
