Jolanda Jones was a force of nature on Survivor: Palau — a Houston criminal-defense attorney and former track champion who won the race to shore to help found the Ulong tribe. Her strong personality immediately rubbed her new tribemates the wrong way.
Ulong lost its first challenge and turned on its founder, making Jolanda the very first boot of the season. She went on to a prominent career in Houston politics, but on the island her stay was brief and stormy.
