Darnell Hamilton's Kaôh Rōng began to unravel at the very first challenge, when he lost the Brawn tribe's diving mask underwater and helped sink their effort. The tribe clawed back to second but lost on the puzzle.
At Tribal he tried to swing the vote onto Alecia, forcing an initial 3-3 tie, but the revote turned entirely against him, and he became the season's first person voted out, on Day 3.
